The 2009 event marked a new beginning for the Company Clothing Industry Awards. The scope was much broader, taking in PPE, footwear, account management and the environment for the first time, alongside the traditional focus on corporate tailoring, workwear and design innovation.
There were 11 categories in all, designed to encompass as much of this diverse industry as possible, and the number of entries received was the highest yet.
The awards also moved back to London, to the glamorous surroundings of the Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair, where they were hosted by the beautiful Myleene Klass.
